There is a lot to consider when choosing the right neighborhood, from family friendliness to the nightlife and diversity.
Niche.com, a website that ranks everything from colleges to the healthiest cities, has created a ranking of the best neighborhoods in Tampa. A few prominent downtown neighborhoods landed at the top of the list.
Harbour Island tops the list, but Hyde Park, Davis Islands and Channel District landed among the top 15.
All neighborhoods received an overall grade based on a few metrics including quality of public schools, nightlife, housing, good for families and diversity. Usually, Niche also grades on crime and safety, but that was left out of Tampa’s report.
Overall, Tampa’s top neighborhoods scored well, not receiving a grade below a B- on any individual category and not scoring lower than an A+ for an overall grade.
